Nick Miller

Musician, Actor, Teacher

Nick is a New York based singer, actor, double bass player, and teacher. He have been lucky enough to have music as a part of his life since his childhood in Minnesota and has dedicated his life to sharing this art form as a performer and teacher.

As a double bassist, Nick has performed with the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony, the Lubbock Symphony, and the Abilene Philharmonic. Along with these performing duties he has been active as a coach for Roseville Area Schools in Minnesota, the Fargo-Moorhead Youth Symphonies, the Youth Orchestras of Lubbock, the KIPP Charter Schools in New York City, and taught privately. He hold degrees in double bass performance from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and Texas Tech University, where he served as a graduate assistant.

As a vocalist, Nick has appeared with regional musical theater and opera companies including The John W. Engman Theater, The Arizona Broadway Theater, The Bronx Opera, Utopia Opera, Mill City Opera, Mixed Precipitation's Picnic Operetta, Lubbock Moonlight Musicals, and The Fargo-Moorhead Opera. He hold a Master's degree in vocal performance from The Manhattan School of Music.

Outside of the theater, Nick has been an active outreach performer, presenting educational programs in schools and concerts in assisted living communities.
